In terms of flavor, Darjeeling tea is often described as being musky and fruity, with notes of muscatel grape. The tea has a light, delicate body and a bright, golden color. The aroma is often described as being floral and slightly spicy, with hints of almonds or apricots.
Darjeeling tea is often enjoyed without milk or sugar, as these can overpower the delicate flavor and aroma of the tea. It is typically brewed at a lower temperature (around 85°C) for around 3-4 minutes.
