Autumn Flush 2016

Autumn Flush - This is the last and final crop of the year which is harvest ted from the 1st week of October to almost the end of November. This harvest has a very unique taste and flavour profile since it is harvested after the monsoon season in Darjeeling. The teas harvest ted during this season can also be consumed with a splash of milk and sugar.

A super quality pure autumn flush Darjeeling tea plucked from the high elevation BB157 & P312 clonal young bushes of this high elevation garden of Darjeeling. The dry leaves are high fired and are brown in appearance. The dry leaves gives out a very delicious fruity aroma with rich hints of dark chocolates, cocoa, dry coconuts and sweet dry dates.
When steeped for complete 5 minutes the cup gives out dark golden orange liquor with multiple layers of delicious flavours of dry fruits and honey. Each sip reminds of ripe grapes and biscuits, followed by a slightly citrus taste which further leaves a rich and sweet muscatel after taste on the palate.
